Badger SPF 35 Sunscreen Face Stick
Sunburn is the worst amirite? It's sort of an obvious statement, but in the context of preparing for an emergency it needs to be mentioned. And one item we rarely see in peoples first-aid kits is sunscreen.
Why? Typically because the cream containers or sprays are just too big to fit into a Bug Out Bag. Badger fixes that problem for us by making a product small enough for our purposes. The Stick is small enough to fit into a pocket without taking up too much room.
Not just for warm places, snow can cause sunburn too if you haven't already experienced it.
Does it work? We're on our 3rd so far and so far it's worked great. We spent a lot of time outside and in the water this summer and got cooked well and good but were protected by the SPF 35.
It spreads on smoothly and evenly and isn't goopy. It doesn't smell. It does leave your skin a little chalky looking if you care. We don't.
It's a smart add to your emergency plans and small enough to fit into a first aid kit.
